You were crying in the middle of the night, and Kai brought you over the groundhog to make you feel better. Shockingly, it worked. (Admittedly, I was initially upset with him...) (There are way too many adverbs going on in that last line.) Brothers have a connection beyond being almost identical to one another, it seems.
We drove MySteph to work, and then came home to be with the Fervers! I wore you for a bit, the whole Ferver clan snuggled you for a bit, and then Dolly took you all to herself for a bit. (you two have a thing...)
